Merchant Advertising Agreement
Halal in the City Merchant Listing Agreement
This Agreement is between:
Halal in the City Group Ltd. (“Company”)
and
The Business Merchant (“Merchant”).
This agreement governs the listing of businesses within the Halal in the City App.
1. Merchant Listings
Merchants may list their business within the App including:
- Restaurant
- Grocery store
- Food vendor
- Professional service
- Trade services
- Community services
All listings must be accurate and truthful.
2. Monthly Listing Fee
Merchants agree to pay a monthly listing fee for inclusion in the App.
The listing fee provides:
- Business profile listing
- Contact information
- Location display on the map
- Ability to submit promotions and coupons
Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants agree to:
- Maintain accurate business information
- Honour published promotions
- Comply with local laws and food regulations
- Provide halal products consistent with their claims
The Merchant is solely responsible for products and services offered.
4. Approval of Listings
Halal in the City reserves the right to:
- Approve or reject listings
- Edit listings for formatting
- Remove listings that violate policies
5. Termination
Either party may terminate the listing with 30 days written notice.
The Company may immediately suspend listings if the Merchant:
- Provides misleading information
- Fails to honour promotions
- Violates Canadian law
- Harms the reputation of the App
6. Limitation of Liability
Halal in the City Group Ltd. is not responsible for:
- Merchant sales performance
- Customer disputes
- Business losses
The App is a directory and promotional platform only.
7. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
Coupon & Promotion Policy
Halal in the City Merchant Promotion Policy
This policy governs promotions offered through the Halal in the City App.
1. Promotion Submission
Merchants may submit promotional offers including:
- Discounts
- Coupons
- Limited-time deals
- Special offers
All promotions must be submitted to the Halal in the City administration team.
2. Approval Process
All promotions require manual approval before appearing in the App.
Halal in the City may:
- Edit wording for clarity
- Reject promotions
- Remove promotions at any time
3. Merchant Obligations
Merchants must:
- Honour all approved promotions
- Clearly specify restrictions
- Respect expiration dates
Failure to honour promotions may result in:
- Removal from the App
- Suspension of merchant account
- Termination of listing
4. Promotion Requirements
Promotions must clearly state:
- Offer description
- Valid dates
- Limitations or exclusions
- Participating location(s)
5. Prohibited Promotions
The following are not permitted:
- False or misleading discounts
- Illegal promotions
- Discriminatory offers
- Promotions that violate Canadian consumer laws
6. Right to Remove Promotions
Halal in the City reserves the right to remove promotions that:
- Violate policies
- Generate customer complaints
- Damage the reputation of the App
