1. Description of Services

The Halal in the City App is a digital platform designed to assist users in locating halal-related services and community resources.

The App provides the following services:

1. Halal Restaurant & Grocery Listings
   Users may search for halal restaurants, grocery stores, and food providers in their area. Participating merchants may pay a monthly fee to have their business listed.
2. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupons
   Participating merchants may offer promotional deals, discounts, or coupons through the App. All promotions must be reviewed and approved by a Halal in the City administrator before being published.
3. Muslim Prayer Locations
   The App may display mosques, prayer spaces, and other Muslim prayer locations within approximately 10 kilometers of the user's device location.
4. Community Events
   The App may publish upcoming events relevant to the Muslim community.
5. Community Services Directory
   Businesses, tradespeople, and professionals may list their services under categorized sections within the App for a monthly subscription fee.

Halal in the City Group Ltd. reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any features of the App at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian to use the App.

By using the App, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into this agreement.

3. Merchant Listings and Business Accounts

Businesses wishing to list their services or establishments in the App must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Maintain valid business operations
• Comply with applicable Canadian laws and regulations

Halal in the City Group Ltd. reserves the right to:

• Approve or reject any listing
• Remove listings at its discretion
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

Listing fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Promotional Offers and Coupons

All promotional deals, coupons, or discounts submitted by merchants must be approved by Halal in the City before publication.

Halal in the City Group Ltd.:

• Does not guarantee the availability of any promotion
• Is not responsible for merchants failing to honour promotions
• May remove or modify promotions at its discretion

Users must follow the terms specified within each promotion.

5. Halal Representation Disclaimer

Halal in the City Group Ltd. does not independently verify the halal certification or practices of businesses listed in the App.

Users are responsible for verifying halal compliance directly with the merchant if required.

The company shall not be liable for any disputes regarding halal authenticity or food preparation.

6. Location Services

The App may use your device's location services to provide nearby:

• Restaurants
• Grocery stores
• Prayer locations
• Community services

Location data is used solely to improve the user experience.

Users may disable location services through their device settings.

7. Community Events

Events displayed in the App may be submitted by third parties.

Halal in the City Group Ltd.:

• Does not organize all listed events
• Is not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or inaccuracies
• Does not guarantee event quality or safety

Users should verify event details with the event organizers.

8. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful activities
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to disrupt the App's services
• Violate the rights of other users or merchants

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of access.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the App including:

• Logos
• Branding
• Design
• Text
• Software

is the property of Halal in the City Group Ltd. or its licensors.

Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or modify any content without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Halal in the City Group Ltd. is not responsible for:

• Food quality or safety
• Business disputes between users and merchants
• Incorrect listings
• Availability of products or services
• Losses resulting from reliance on information in the App

The App is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.

11. Privacy

Use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected and used.

Users consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

Halal in the City Group Ltd. reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for any user or merchant who violates these Terms.

13. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.

Users will be notified of significant changes through the App or website.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in British Columbia.
